Hot and ready for the 'gram, these babies from The Loop take your nostalgic childhood churros to the next level. This Orange County churro joint, co-founded by the famous @DailyFoodFeed Instagrammer, has been quite the buzz! With a simple menu and a ton of customizable options, you can create the churro of your dreams.

I kept seeing photos of these beautiful churros all over Instagram and knew I needed to venture out and give them a try! Luckily, I was able to make a pit stop here on my way back from San Diego after Christmas. Oh, and I had no idea they were located straight out of a scene from Fast and the Furious! How cool is that?!

The Loop only opened up earlier this year but quickly gained traction with their notoriously shaped “loop” churro. Warm and cripsy, they are fried to perfection – none of that old oil nonsense here. Get your churro dipped ($3.50), glazed ($4.50) or chilled ($5.50) with a side of soft serve. You can even choose from their limited edition flavors if you want something a little extra festive.

The interior is a food photographer's dream: a well-lit space with modestly decorated walls and a "Life is sweet" brand-friendly backdrop. There's even a photobooth located at the entrance, so you can snap away as you wait in line and email them to yourself for later!

Innovative, flavorful and reasonably priced -- The Loop is more than just a social media sensation. If you love churros, you’ll love this place!

Sweet Tip
Order your churro with all the bells and whistles, but also get a plain cinnamon sugar one on the side to munch on and thank me later.
