LUXURY STAY AT SHANGRI-LA HOTEL, TORONTO
Toronto is like a second home to me, so naturally I find myself there at least once a year. Whenever I visit, I always stay with family. But during my most recent trip, I just couldn’t turn down a luxe night at the Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto!
Location
The contemporary hotel is located in the heart of Downtown Toronto between the entertainment and financial districts, just a few minutes’ walk to many of Toronto’s main attractions, restaurants and cafes. Shahzeb and I felt like we were on a little vacation and even planned out a date night during our stay!
The Rooms
Overflowing with modern touches and an elegant yet timeless design, the hotel rooms were made with luxury and convenience in mind. Being able to control the drapes or switch on the TV in the bathroom mirror with the push of a button on the tablet was wonderful.
The floor to ceiling windows filled our room with natural light and we loved falling asleep and waking up to stunning city views! I also very much adored the white marble bathroom (with heated floors, nonetheless!), plush bathrobes and in-room Nespresso machine.

Dining
We loved dining at Bosk for breakfast before checking out in the morning! The restaurant has so many lovely features and serves modern, Asian-inspired cuisine made with seasonal regional ingredients. Not only was the food beautifully plated but the flavors were delicious! Most importantly, the coffee was perfect.
If you have the opportunity, get a reservation in the Lobby Lounge for the Shangri-La’s famous Afternoon Tea. They are one of the only hotels in the city who still do a daily Afternoon Tea with premium teas sourced from around the world. When we visited, they had a fashion-themed high tea! How creative is that?!
The Bar has the most gorgeous light fixture and is bustling in the evenings. Order one of the beautifully crafted cocktails and settle into the cozy Lobby Lounge for some live music!
Bosk Restaurant & Bar
My stay at the Shangri-La Hotel in Toronto was short but so sweet! The staff went above and beyond to make our time there special. I highly recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a luxurious room with city views, attentive staff and incredible food in a great location!
